St. Patrick's Day

Do Your Ears Point Up (tune of Do Your Ears Hang Low)

Do your ears point up? Do you have a lot of luck?
For gold do you dig? Can you dance an Irish jig?
If you answered yes, your a leprechaun I guess
Do your ears point up?

Eency Weency Leprechaun (tune of Eency Weency Spider)

An eency, weency, leprechaun came out St. Patrick's Day
To look for gold that was hidden away
Over the rainbow was where he was told
So with a wink of his green eye
He ran off for the gold.

Five Little Leprechauns

Five little leprechauns digging for some gold. (Digging motion)
One slipped and fell into a hole. (Falling)
The others called a fairy who them told, (Calling)
"No more leprechauns digging for gold!" (Shaking finger)

Four little leprechauns digging for some gold.
(And so on...)

No little leprechauns to dig for gold. (Shrug shoulders.)
All the five are down in the hole. (Hold up five fingers, then point down.)
Above them stands the fairy who loudly scolds, (Hands on hips)
"I told you to stop digging for that gold!" (Shaking finger)

Five Wee Leprechauns

Five wee leprechauns scurrying by my door
One jumped away, then there were four
Four wee leprechauns, climbing in my tree
One hid in the grass, and then there were three.
Three wee leprechauns, just a busy few
One went for a pot of gold, then there were two.
Two wee leprechauns having lots of fun
One hopped over the rainbow and then there was one.
One wee leprechaun with all his work done
He slipped off for a nap, then there were none.

How Many Leprechauns (tune of Twinkle, Twinkle)

How many leprechauns do you see?
Can you count them? 1, 2, 3.
How many skinny ones? How many fat?
How many leprechauns without a hat?
How many leprechauns do you see?
Can you count them? 1, 2, 3.

I'm a Little Leprechaun (tune of I'm a Little Teapot)

I'm a little leprechaun, can't you see
I am as tiny as can be
I only come around just once a year
That's when St. Patrick's Day is here.

I'm a Little Shamrock (tune of I'm a Little Teapot)

I'm a little shamrock, see my leaves
Count my petals if you please
If you give me water and lots of sun
I'll bring you good luck and lots of fun.

Leprechaun

Leprechaun, leprechaun, hiding in the hay
Leprechaun, leprechaun, don't you run away
Leprechaun, leprechaun, let's go out an play
Leprechaun, leprechaun, it's St. Patrick's Day!

Leprechaun

A leprechaun is small and green
He hides where he cannot be seen
But if you catch one on this day
He must give his gold away.

Leprechaun, Leprechaun

Leprechaun, leprechaun, reach up high.
Leprechaun, leprechaun, touch the sky.
Leprechaun, leprechaun, turn around.
Leprechaun, leprechaun, touch the ground.
Leprechaun, leprechaun, show your shoe.
Leprechaun, leprechaun, that will do.

Leprechaun's March (tune of Twinkle, Twinkle)

Leprechauns are marching by,
See how cute they wink their eye.
See them marching two by two.
Can't you see them wave to you.
I think St. Patrick's Day is near,
Because the Leprechauns are here.

No, You Can't Catch Me  (tune of Mary Had a Little Lamb)

No, you can't, you can't catch me!
Can't catch me!
Can't catch me!
No, you can't, you can't catch me,
I'm wearing green, you see!

Leprechaun Dancing (tune of Skip to My Lou)

Leprechaun, leprechaun,
Dance to the right.
Leprechaun, leprechaun,
Dance to the right.
Leprechaun, leprechaun,
Dance to the right.
Dance to the right,
My green friend.

Leprechaun, leprechaun,
Dance to the left.
Leprechaun, leprechaun,
Dance to the left.
Leprechaun, leprechaun,
Dance to the left.
Dance to the left,
My green friend.

Leprechaun, leprechaun,
Dance all around.
Leprechaun, leprechaun,
Dance all around.
Leprechaun, leprechaun,
Dance all around.
Dance all around,
My green friend.

On St. Patrick's Day
(tune of Mulberry Bush)

Let's wear green and dance a jig, dance a jig, dance a jig
Let's wear green and dance a jig, on St. Patrick's Day

The Shamrock is Green (tune of Farmer in the Dell)

The shamrock is green, the shamrock is green
Hi ho, St. Patrick's Day, the shamrock is green.

Sean, Sean, the Leprechaun

Sean, Sean, the leprechaun
Danced through the forest with a green suit on
You can chase his all day long
Come too close and poof he's gone.

St. Patrick's Day (tune of Skip to My Lou)

Let's wear green and dance a jig,
Let's wear green and dance a jig,
Let's wear green and dance a jig,
On St. Patrick's Day.

Let's find a clover with four leaves,
Let's find a clover with four leaves,
Let's find a clover with four leaves,
On St. Patrick's Day.

Let's look for leprechauns on their way,
Let's look for leprechauns on their way,
Let's look for leprechauns on their way,
On St. Patrick's Day.

Let's search for gold at the rainbow's end,
Let's search for gold at the rainbow's end,
Let's search for gold at the rainbow's end,
On St. Patrick's Day.

This Little Leprechaun

This little leprechaun slid down the rainbow
This little leprechaun stayed home
This little leprechaun picked a shamrock
This little leprechaun found some gold
This little leprechaun cried, "See if you can catch me!"
As he ran home.
