Chubby Little Snowman

A chubby little snowman
Had a carrot nose
Along came a bunny,
And what do you suppose?
That hungry little bunny,
Looking for his lunch,
Ate the snowman's carrot nose,
Nibble, nibble, crunch!

Five Little Snowmen

Five little snowmen
On a winter's day -
The first one said,
"Wake up, so we can play."
The second one said,
"Let's stomp on the ground."
The third one said,
"Let's roll all around."
The fourth one said,
"Let's run and run and run."
The fifth one said,
"I'm afraid I feel the sun"
"Oh dear!" cried the snowmen,
As they looked toward the sky.
And the five melting snowmen
Waved a fond good-bye.

I Am A Snowman

Now I am a snowman.
Standing on the lawn.
I melt and melt and melt.
And pretty soon I'm gone.

I am a snowman, cold and white.
I stand so still all through the night.
With a carrot nose,
And a head held high.
And a lump of coal
To make each eye.
I have a muffler made of red.
And a stovepipe hat
Upon my head.
The sun is coming out. Oh my!
I think that I am going to cry.

John Brown Had A Snowman

John Brown had a little snowman (3 times)
One little snowman white.
1 little, 2 little, 3 little snowmen,
4 little, 5 little, 6 little snowmen,
7 little, 8 little, 9 little snowmen,
Ten little snowmen white.
Old Mister Sun melted the snowmen (3 times)
Melted the snowmen white.
10 little, 9 little, 8 little snowmen,
7 little, 6 little, 5 little snowmen,
4 little, 3 little, 2 little snowmen,
One little snowman white.
(And he melted out of sight!)


Little Snowman
I'm a little snowman
Short and fat
Here is my broomstick
Here is my hat
I've got two little eyes
And a carrot nose
And a scarf around my neck
For when the cold wind blows
I sit outside
On a winter day
Watching and waiting
As the children play
When the sun comes out
I'll melt away
Gone, gone, gone
Not long to stay.


Little Snowman
I made a little snowman with hat and cane complete
With shiny buttons on his coat and shoes upon his feet
But I know when the sun comes out, my snowman will go away
So I'll put him in our big deep freeze, and he'll be sure to stay.

Making Snowballs
Roll, roll, roll the snow.
Roll it round and round.
Make a great big snowball
And lay it on the ground.
Roll, roll, roll the snow
Round and round and stop.
Make a snowball middle-sized
And lay it on the top.
Roll, roll, roll the snow
A smaller ball instead.
Lay it on the middle one,
And you'll have a head!
Get a hat without a crown
And potato for the nose.
Get a scarf and get a broom,
And old shoes for the toes.
Now our happy snowman
Is sitting on the ground.
It's the best time we have had
All the year around!


Mr. Snowman
Mr. Snowman so big and fat.
All dressed up in your Sunday hat.
A stick for a nose and coal for eyes.
My, you look so proud and wise.
Mr. Snowman, the sun in hot.
You will melt as like as not.
When you are little, do you know what then?
We will build you up again.

I would bring him inside

But Mommy says that he enjoys

Sitting side by side.
Out came the sun
And they had to hide.
Two behind the small skidoo,
Two behind the tree,
Two behind the snowbank,
And one behind me.

S is for snowman, skis and sled.
S is for snuggling safe in bed.
S is for scarf, socks and sun
And snowflakes melting
On my tongue.

Snowfriend
Pack a snowball, make it round
Roll it, roll it along the ground
Make one big ball, and one of middle size
Then roll a smaller ball. Add nose and eyes
Give him a broom and a scarf of blue
Now there's a friend to play with you.

A funny little snowman
Sat in our yard today.
He said come out and
Play with me, before I melt away.
He placed a hat upon his head,
And began to dance around.
We laughed and
Sang some silly songs,

Beating down that day,
My funny little snowman
Soon was on his way.

I'm a little snowman,

But, when the sun comes out
I will have to run away.

Snowman
Once there was a snowman
Who stood outside the door.
He thought he'd like to come inside
And run around the floor.
He thought he'd like to warm himself
By the firelight red,
He thought he'd like to climb right up
Onto my big, white bed.
So he called the North Wind.
"Help me get away.
I'm completely frozen,
Standing here all day."
So the North Wind came along
And blew him in the door.
And now there's only water left,
A puddle on the floor.

Add a carrot,

Add a hat
A scarf this time

I built you yesterday out of snow

Snow Men Fade Away
Six little snowmen
Standing in a row
Each with a hat
And a big red bow.

Dressed for a show
Now that they are ready,
Where will they go?
Wait till the sun shines,
Soon they will go
Down through the fields
With the melting snow.

The Snowman
I made a little snowman,
I made him big and round.
I made him from a snowball.
I rolled upon the ground.
He has two eyes, a nose, a mouth.
A lovely scarf of red,
He even has some buttons
And a hat upon his head.
Melt, melt, melt, melt,
Melt, melt, melt, melt.  (pretend you are melting to the ground)


The Snowman
Roll him and roll him until he is big.
Roll him until he is fat as a pig.
He has two eyes and a hat on his head.
He’ll stand there all night,
While we go to bed.

The Snowman
I made a great tall snowman
With two huge coal black eyes
And just to reach around his neck
Took two of Daddy's ties.
I put a hat of Mother's
Upon his rounded head
And then I ran and left him
And hurried off to bed.
When I awoke next morning
Imagine my surprise
My snowman had run away
And left his hat, ties, and eyes!
