Five Police Officers

Five strong police officers standing by a store.
One became a traffic cop, then there were four.
Four strong police officers watching over me.
One took a lost boy home, then there were three.
Three strong police officers all dressed in blue.
One stopped a speeding car and then there were two.
Two strong police officers, how fast they can run.
One caught a bad man and then there was one.
One strong police officer saw some smoke one day.
He called the firefighter who put it out right away.

Look Both Ways

Step on the corner.
Watch for the light.
Look to the left.
Look to the right.
If nothing is coming,
Then start and don't talk.
Go straight across.
Be careful and walk.

Red Light

Red light, red light, what do you say?
I say, "STOP" and stop right away.
Yellow light, yellow light, what do you mean?
I mean, "WAIT" until the light turns green.
Green light, green light, what do you say?
I say, "GO", but first look both ways.

Now I know what the traffic lights mean.

Silly Teddy Bear

Silly little teddy bear
Stood up in his rocking chair.
Now he has to stay in bed
With a bandage round his head.

Smokey The Bear

Smokey the bear, Smokey the bear,
Prowling and growling and sniffing the air.
He can smell a fire, before it starts to flame.
That's why they call him Smokey, that's how he got his name.

Stop

"Stop," says the red light,
"Go," says the green.
"Careful," says the yellow light,
Winking in between.

The Crossing Guard

The crossing guard keeps us safe
As he works from day to day.
He holds the stop sign high in the air,
For the traffic to obey.
And when the cars have completely stopped
And it's as safe as safe can be,
He signals us to walk across
The street so carefully.
