Baby Mice
Where are the baby mice hiding? In a nest
One peeks out, where are all the rest?
One is sleepy, one is snappy
One is crying, and the last one is happy.
Five Furry Chipmunks
Five furry chipmunk we simply adore.
One hid behind a branch and then there were
four.
Four furry chipmunks were climbing a tree.
One slid to the ground and then there were
three.
Three furry chipmunks found an old shoe.
One crawled inside of it, then there were two.
Two furry chipmunks were chasing in the sun.
One got tired and rested, then there was one.
One furry chipmunk wanted to run - so,
ABRACADABRA! Then there were none!
Five Little Mice
Five little mice came out to play,
Gathering crumbs along the way.

Four little mice go scampering back.
Five Little Mice
Five little mice on the pantry floor
This little moue peeked behind the door
This little mouse nibbled at the cake
This little mouse not a sound did make
This little mouse took a bit of cheese
This little mouse heard a kitten sneeze
Ah-choo sneezed the kitten and squeak they cried
As they found a hole and hid inside.
Five Little Squirrels
Five little squirrels lived up in a tree.
And they were alike as squirrels could be.
The first little squirrel was alone one day.
He called to his friends, "Come on and
play!"
The second little squirrel jumped down from a
limb.
The first little squirrel jumped after him.
The third little squirrel found nuts to eat.
He cracked them and ate them for they were
sweet.
The fourth little squirrel played hide and
seek.
She hid her eyes and did not peek.
The fifth little squirrel called,
"Chirr-chirr-chirr-eeee!"
And all of the squirrels ran back to the tree.
Furry Squirrel
I'm a fur, fur, furry squirrel,
With a bush, bush, bushy tail,
And I scamper here and there,
Scamper everywhere,
Looking for some nuts.
I've got nuts on my nose,
Nuts in my toes,
Nuts on my head,
Nuts in my bed,
Nuts in my paws,
Nuts in my jaws,
Crack, crack, POP!

Guinea Pigs
When guinea pig looked in the glass one day,
He shouted with a wail,
"Oh dearie me. Why didn't you say,
That I had lost my tail?"
He looked to the left, he looked to the right;
He looked just everywhere.
He crawled in a corner to be out of sight.
He really had a scare.
His mother called, "My son, come
out."
He crept out like a snail.
She said, "My boy, there is no doubt -
YOU NEVER HAD A TAIL!"
Hickory, Dickory Dock
Hickory, dickory, dock.
The mouse ran up the clock.
The clock struck one, the mouse ran down.
Hickory, dickory dock.
Other verses:
The clock struck two, the mouse said, "Boo!"
The clock struck three, the mouse said, "Whee!"
The clock struck four, the mouse said, "No more!"
Little Grey Squirrel
Little grey squirrel, swish your bushy tail.
Little grey squirrel, swish your bushy tail.
Wrinkle up your little nose,
Hold a nut between your toes,
Little grey squirrel, swish your bushy tail.
Little Mousie
Here's a little mousie
Peeking through a hole.
Peek to the left.
Peek to the right.

There's a cat in sight!
Merry Mice
Five merry mice were born in May
The first one said, "In the mud let's play."
The second one said, "No way, Jose!"
The third one said, "In the middle I must stay."
The fourth one said, "I am mad today."
The fifth one said, "Our mom we must obey."
Mouse and Cat

Eating the crumbs he found on the way.

Big and fat!
One little mouse ran quickly back.
Mouse in a Hole
A mouse lived in a little hole,
Lived softly in a little hole,
When all was quiet as quiet can be...
OUT POPPED HE!
The Cold Old House
I know a house, and a
cold old house,
A cold old house by the sea.
If I were a mouse in that cold old house
What a cold cold mouse I'd be!
Scurry Squirrel (tune of Twinkle, Twinkle)
Scurry squirrels and don't be slow
Winter's coming, don't you know
Scamper, scamper, all around
Bury treasure in the ground.
Scurry squirrels and don't be slow
Winter's coming don't you know.
Squirrel in a Tree
This is the squirrel that lives in a tree
This is the tree which he climbs
This is the nut that he takes from me
As I sit very still sometimes
Squirrel's Breakfast
A squirrel from his tree-house poked out his head
It's high time for my breakfast he happily said
So he ran down the tree trunk and pattered around
His bushy tail trailing, his nose to the ground
He looked here, he looked there, through the white snow
Till he found a nut, hidden below
And into his cheek he popped the nut with glee
Then Mr. Squirrel scampered back up the tree
If you look very sharply, maybe you'll spy
Mr. Squirrel at his door ever so high.
Squirrel Scamper
Whisky frisky,
Hippity hop
Up he goes to the top;
Whirly twirly,
Round and round
Down he scampers to the ground.
Ten Little Squirrels
Ten little, nine little,
Eight little squirrels,
Seven little, six little
Five little squirrels,
Four little, three little
Two little squirrels,
One little frisky squirrel.
The Cold Old House
I know a house, and a
cold old house,
A cold old house by the sea.
If I were a mouse in that cold old house
What a cold cold mouse I'd be!
The Squirrel
These are the brown leaves fluttering down
This is the tall tree bare and brown
This is the squirrel with eyes so bright
Hunting for nuts with all his might
This is the hole where day by day
Nut after nut he stores away
When winter comes with its cold and storm
He'll sleep curled up all snug and warm
This is the Squirrel
This is the squirrel that lives in a tree.
This is the tree that she climbs.
This is the nut that she takes from me
When I sit very still - sometimes!
Three Little Rats
Three little rats with black felt hats,
Three little ducks with cricket bats,
Three little dogs with curling tails,
Three little cats with bright red pails,
Went out to play with two little pigs,
In satin vests and curly wigs.
But suddenly it chanced to rain,
And so they all went home again.
