Robins
A Robin
I wonder how a robin hears?
I never yet have seen his ears
But I have seen him tip his head
And pull a worm right out of bed.
Baby Robins
Five baby robins watch Daddy Robin soar
One baby leaves the nest and now there are four
Four baby robins, high up in a tree
One flies to catch a worm and now there are three
Three baby robins had nothing to do
One tried his new found wing and then there were two
Two baby robins frolicked in the sun
Another robin chased a bug and then there was one
One baby robin left all alone
And this baby robin decided to stay home!
Five Little Robins
Five little robins up in a tree
Father, mother, and babies three
Father caught a worm
Mother caught a bug
This one got the bug
This one got the worm
This one said, now it's my turn!
Little Robin Redbreast
Little Robin Redbreast sat upon a tree.
Up went the pussy cat and down went he.
Down came Pussy and away Robin ran.
Says little Robin Redbreast, "Catch me if you can."
Little Robin Redbreast jumped upon a wall.
Pussy cat jumped after him and almost had a fall.
Little Robin chirped and sang and what did Pussy say?"
Pussy cat said, "Mew," and Robin ran away.
Robin
Little Robin Redbreast,
Sat upon a rail.
Niddle-naddle went his head,
Wiggle-waggle went his tail.
Robin Red Breast
Way up high, little robin flying just so
Quick down low for a worm he must go
With a wing on the left and a wing on the right
Fly to your nest for soon it will be night
The Little Robin
There was a little robin
Whose head was always bobbin'
Who said, as he gobbled up a worm,
"I have swallowed all your brothers
And thirty-seven others
And goodness how they tickle
When they squirm."
Robin
When a robin cocks his head
Sideways in a flower bed
He can hear the tiny sound
Of a worm beneath the ground
The North Wind
The north wind doth blow,
And we shall have snow,
And what will the robin do then?
Poor thing.
He'll sit in a barn,
To keep himself warm,
And hide his head under his wing,
Poor thing.
