Owls

Four Little Owls

This little owl has great, round eyes.
This little owl is of very small size.
This little owl can turn her head.
This little owl likes mice, she said.
This little owl flies all around,
And her wings hardly make a single sound.

Five Little Owls

Five little owls in the old elm tree
Fluffy and puffy as owls could be
Blinking and winking with big round eyes
At the big round moon that hung in the skies
As I passed underneath I could hear one say
"There'll be mouse for supper, there will today."
Then all of them hooted, "Tu-whit, tu-whoo!"
Yes, mouse for supper, hoo hoo, hoo hoo.

The Wise Old Owl

The wise old owl
Sat on an oak
The more he saw
The less he spoke
The more he spoke
The less he heard
Why can't we all
Be like that wise old bird?

Wise-Eyed Owl

The wide-eyed owl has a long pointed nose.
And two pointed ears and claws for his toes.
When that owl looks at you, he flaps his wings
And says, "Whoo, Hoo-Hoo, Whoo-Whoo!"
