Health
A Doctor
A doctor fell in a deep well
And broke his collar bone.
The Moral: Doctor, mind the sick
And leave the well alone.
Brushing Teeth
I jiggle the toothbrush again and again.
I scrub all my teeth for awhile.
I swish the water to rinse them and then
I look at myself and I smile.
Dirty Hands
Dirty hands are such a fright
See, I washed mine clean and bright
Mother says it is quite right
To wash them morning, noon, and night.
Doctor Day
My father said, "It's doctor day,"
Then he and I were on our way
To see our friend, the doctor, who
Would check me out as doctors do.
She had more thing that I can tell,
To help her keep the people well.
She checked me up and all the while
She wore a big and friendly smile.
So now I hope that someday you
May go to see the doctor too!
Dress for the Weather
If you go without your coat
When the wind is damp and chill,
You'll end up in bed, my friend,
Feverish, sneezing and ill.
Wear your boots through snow and mud
And during a thunderstorm.
Also wear a waterproof coat and hat
To keep yourself dry and warm.
Every Six Months
I went to the dentist
to get checked out
The dentist said, "Kelly,
open your mouth
You've brushed and flossed
after eating cheese.
That's why you have
NO CAVITIES!
I Brush My Teeth
I brush my teeth in the morning,
I brush my teeth in the morning,
I brush my teeth in the morning,
Every single day.
I brush my teeth in the evening,
I brush my teeth in the evening,
I brush my teeth in the evening,
Every single day.
Loose Teeth
Brian lost his front tooth
In the strangest way
He was eating ice cream
After school one day
He bit down on a walnut
And then let out a roar
"Hey Mommy check this hole out
That wasn't there before!"
Miss Polly Had a Dolly
Miss Polly had a dolly who was sick, sick,
sick.
So she called for the doctor to come quick,
quick, quick.
The doctor came with his bag and his hat.
And he rapped at the door, with a rat tat tat.
He looked at the dolly and he shook his head.
And he said, "Miss Polly put her straight
to bed."
He wrote on a paper for a pill, pill, pill.
"I'll be back in the morning with the
bill, bill, bill."
My Toothbrush
I have a little toothbrush.
I hold it very tight.
I brush my teeth each morning,
And then again at night.
Slippery Soap
Slippery, slippery, slippery, soap.
Now you see it, now you don't
Slide it on the arms, one, two, three,
Now your arms are slippery!
So Early in the Morning (tune of
Mulberry Bush)
This is the way we brush our teeth, brush our
teeth, brush our teeth,
This is the way we brush our teeth, so early in
the morning.
... comb our hair
...wash our face
...clean our nails
Tiny Tim
I had a little brother, his name was Tiny Tim.
I put him in the bathtub to see if he could
swim.
He drank up all the water, he ate up all the
soap.
And now he's home sick in bed with bubbles in
his throat.
In came the doctor, in came the nurse.
In came the lady with the alligator purse.
"Measles," said the doctor,
"Mumps," said the nurse.
"Chicken pox," said the lady with the
alligator purse.
I don't want the doctor, I don't want the
nurse.
I don't want the lady with the alligator purse.
To The Hospital (tune of Frère
Jacques)
To the hospital, to the hospital,
We will go, we will go.
We will see the doctors,
And we'll see the nurses,
Don't you know, don't you know.
Wash Those Dirty Hands
Wash those dirty hands, oh,
Wash those dirty hands.
Get those fingers nice and clean,
Wash those dirty hands.
