Christmas
Christmas
on the Moon (tune
of Twinkle Twinkle)
Christmas,
Christmas on the moon,
Let’s
spend Christmas on the moon.
In
our space suits white and red
With
sparkling helmets for our heads
Air
tanks, moon boots, telephones too,
For
us to say “Merry Christmas” to you.
Christmas,
Christmas on the moon,
Let’s
spend Christmas on the moon.
We’ll
all squeeze in our little ship
Especially
for this awesome trip
Astronaut
food and candy too
Milk
and water in the tubes.
Christmas,
Christmas on the moon,
Let’s
spend Christmas on the moon.
We’ll
decorate the plain white moon
Look
for colors very soon
Yellow,
red, blue and green,
The
prettiest sight you’ve ever seen.
Christmas,
Christmas on the moon,
Let’s
spend Christmas on the moon.
The
lunar rover will be great
To
help us play and celebrate
Santa
Claus has made a date
To
race us with his reindeer eight.
Christmas,
Christmas on the moon,
Let’s
spend Christmas on the moon.
We’ll
jump and play and bounce so high
Gravity’s
less, so, my oh my
Round
and round the moon we’ll fly
Underneath
the starry skies.
Christmas,
Christmas on the moon,
Let’s
spend Christmas on the moon.
We’ll
see our earth so blue and white
That
will be a wonderful sight
From
way out far in outer space
The
earth is such a beautiful place.
Christmas,
Christmas on the moon,
Let’s
spend Christmas on the moon.
We
want to see the special star
That
brought the wise men from afar
To
the place where Jesus lay
On
his manger soft with hay.
Christmas,
Christmas on the moon,
Let’s
spend Christmas on the moon.
We’ll
look for heaven while we’re there
It
must be by the moon somewhere
But
now its time to say to say “Good-night”
It’s
time for us to take our flight!

Christmas Spelling Song (tune of Jingle Bells)
C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S is here
That's how we spell Christmas
It's the best time of the year
C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S is here
Oh what fun we'll have today
With all our friends so near
Christmas Time
Christmas trees with sparkling lights,
Candles tipped with fire,
Carols sung at home and school,
Happy days inspire.
Greeting cards the Postman brings,
Crisp and cold the weather,
Letters, gifts, and friends for tea,
Families get together.
Plates of cookies, special sweets,
Popcorn, nuts, and candy,
Secrets whispered back and forth,
Christmas time is dandy.
Colors of Christmas
Green is for Christmas, the Evergreen tree;
It is living and growing and glowing for me.
White is for Christmas, the snowflakes that fall;
Blanketing Earth in a stillness for all.
Gold is for Christmas, engraved is the thought,
"To love one another and do what we ought."
Blue is for Christmas, the blue of the night,
When shepherds and Wise Men, followed the light.
Red is for Christmas, the heart of a child,
That's beating and throbbing, with love, mercy mild.
All colors make Christmas, behold their bright hues!
Wishing you gladness and bringing good news.
It's the birthday of Jesus, our Savior this day.
Rejoice, everyone, it's Christmas today!
Five Little Bells
Five little bells, hanging in a row.
The first one said, "Ring me slow."
The second one said, "Ring me fast."
The third one said, "Ring me last."
The fourth one said, "I'm like a chime."
The fifth one said, "Ring me at Christmas time."
Five Little Candles
Five little candles burning so bright,
The first one said, "We make great light."
The second one said, "The child is born."
The third one said, "Our light will adorn."
The fourth one said, "We shine for Him."
The fifth one said, "Let's not be dim."
So they stood very tall and glowed very bright,
And the Christ child smiled that very night.
Five Little Christmas Cookies
Five little Christmas cookies on a plate by the door,
One was eaten and then there were four.
Four little Christmas cookies, gazing up at me
One was eaten and then there were three.
Three little Christmas cookies, enough for me and you.
One was eaten and then there were two.
Two little Christmas cookies sitting in the sun
One was eaten and then there was one.
One little Christmas cookie, better grab it fast
As you can see the others surely didn't last.
Five Little Reindeer
Five little reindeer, prancing in the snow,
Waiting for Santa to say, "Let's go!"
The first little reindeer said, "Let's be on our
way."
The second little reindeer said, "It's almost Christmas
Day."
The third little reindeer said, "The sleigh is full of
toys."
The fourth little reindeer said, "They're for all the
girls and boys."
The fifth little reindeer said, "We'll travel far
tonight."
Then out came Santa with his, "Ho, ho, ho!"
And the sleigh and the reindeer were soon out of sight.

For all good girls and boys
Come Dancer, Prancer, Dasher and Vixen
Come Comet, Cupid, Donner, and Blitzen.
Now, away to your housetop,
Clickety-clop, clickety-clop, clickety-clop.
Ho, Ho, Ho
What does Santa say
As he flies through the snow?
Merry, merry Christmas
HO, HO, HO

To make his reindeer go?

Jesus' Birthday's Coming
Jesus' birthday's coming soon
And soft beds babies need,
So let us fill the paper cribs,
A straw for each good deed.
We're so glad that Jesus came
On earth to be our brother.
Let us show it now with love
And kindness to each other.
Light a Little Candle
Light a little candle, say a little prayer,
Sing a little carol, His love is everywhere.
Merry, Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year too,
At Christmas time and all the time,
May God bless you!
My Stocking
Two, four, six, eight,
Santa Claus, don't be late.
Here's my stocking, I can't wait!
Two, four, six, eight.
On a Cold Winter Night
On a cold winter night with no place to stay
A baby was born in a manger of hay.
He cried for his dinner and stared at a sheep
He smiled at his mother and fell fast asleep
Three wise men came by and said if he pleases
We have gifts to give to the infant named Jesus
Their mission then finished the men hummed along
As a poor little drummer boy played Jesus a song.
One is for the Manger
One is for the manger
Where Baby Jesus lay.
Two is for Mary and Joseph
On that Christmas Day.
Three is for the wise men
Who brought three gifts of love.
Four is for the shepherds
And angel songs above.
Five is for the animals
Who stood guard in the shed
Over Baby Jesus
In his manger bed.
Peppermint Stick Song
Oh I took a lick of my peppermint stick
And I thought it tasted yummy.
Oh, it used to hang on my Christmas tree.
But I like it better in my tummy.
Presents
See all the presents by the Christmas tree
Some for you,
And some for me.
Long ones,
Tall ones,
Short ones, too.
And here is a round one
Wrapped in blue.
Isn't it fun to look and see
All of the presents by the Christmas tree.

At Christmas time,
_______ are red,
_______ are red,
_______ are red,
_______ are red,
_______ are red,
_______ are red,

Reindeer Pokey (tune of The Hokey Pokey)
You put your antlers in, you put your antlers out
You put your antlers in and you shake them all about
You do the reindeer pokey and you turn yourself around
That's what it's all about.
You put your hooves in...
You put your red nose in...
You put your fluffy tail in...
You put your reindeer body in...
Riddle Ree The Christmas Tree
Riddle, riddle, riddle ree,
Dance around the Christmas tree.
Tolling bells, tolling bells,
Carolers singing, Jingle Bells.
In the churches, steeples tall,
Organs play, To Worship, All.
Tie that package, make a bow,
Take it to the one you know.
Holly Wreath on the door,
Merry Christmas, that's what for!
Ring the Bells (tune of Row Your Boat)
Ring, ring, ring the bells,
Ring them loud and clear,
To tell the children everywhere
That Christmas time is here.
S-A-N-T-A (tune: B-I-N-G-0)
There is a jolly, jolly man
And Santa is his name-o.
S-A-N-T-A
S-A-N-T-A
S-A-N-T-A
And Santa is his name-o.
Santa
When Santa comes down the chimney
I should like to peek.
But he'll never come, no never,
Until I'm fast asleep.
Santa Claus (tune of London Bridge)
Guess whose beard is long and white, long and white, long
and white
Guess whose beard is long and white - dear old Santa Claus.
Guess who comes on Christmas Day, Christmas Day, Christmas
Day,
Guess who comes on Christmas Day - dear old Santa Claus.
Guess whose boots are shiny and black, shiny and black,
shiny and black
Guess whose boots are shiny and black - dear old Santa
Claus.
Guess who's got a twinkle in his eye, twinkle in his eye,
twinkle in his eye
Guess who's got a twinkle in his eye - dear old Santa Claus.
The Chimney
Here is the chimney, (fist)
Here is the top, (other hand over fist)
Open the lid, (remove hand)
Out Santa will pop! (pop up thumb)
The Gift
What can I give Him,
Poor as I am?
If I were a shepherd,
I would bring a lamb.
If I were a wise man
I would do my part.
Yet, what can I give Him?
I'll give Him my heart!
This is the Way We Trim the Tree (sing to Mulberry Bush)
This is the way we trim the tree,
Trim the tree, trim the tree,
This is the way we trim the tree,
At Christmas holiday time.
