A Kitten

A kitten is fast asleep under the chair.
And Donald can't find her.
He's looked everywhere.
Under the table,
Under the bed,
He looked in the corner, and then Donald said.
"Come Kitty, come Kitty, this milk is for you."
And out came kitty calling, "Mew, mew, mew."

Black Cat

The black cat yawns, opens her jaws
Stretches her legs and shows her claws.
Then she gets up and stands on four
Long stiff legs and yawns some more.
Lifting herself on her delicate toes
She arches her back as high as it goes.
She lets herself down with particular care
And pads away with her tail in the air.

My cat can stalk
My cat can walk
But how I wish
My cat could
    TALK!

Five Black Kittens

Five black kittens stayed up late
Sitting on top of the garden gate.
The stars came out and the moon did too.
The five little kittens began to mew.
Along came the mother with a lovely purr
And she took the kittens back home with her.

I Saw Two Cats

I saw two cats, two, two, two.
And each cat said, "Mew, mew, mew."
Another cat made three, three, three.
I wish they were for me, me, me.
Another cat made four, four, four.
But still I wanted more, more, more.
I took them home, but sakes alive!
I found that I had five, five, five.
My mama said, "That's fine, fine, fine."
So all five cats are mine, mine, mine.

I have a cat, she's very shy.
But she comes when I call her.
K-I-T-T-Y

K-I-T-T-Y
And Kitty is her name-o.

She's a cranky old kitty
But I love her so
She spits and she hisses
When she steps in the snow
She can't stand children

Mrs. Kitty's Dinner

Mrs. Kitty, sleek and fat, with her kittens four.
Went to sleep upon the mat by the kitchen door.
Mrs. Kitty heard a noise. Up she jumped in glee.
"Kittens, maybe that's a mouse? Let's go and see!"
Creeping, creeping, creeping on, silently they stole.
But the little mouse had gone back into his hole.

Pussy-Cat

Pussy-cat, pussy-cat, where've you been?
I've been to London to visit the Queen.
Pussy-cat, pussy-cat, what did you do there?
I frightened a little mouse under a chair.

Special Diet

There's something wrong with Sasha
He doesn't want to purr
His motor isn't running
And all because of her

Her name is little Myshka
A teeny tiny mouse
She's peeking out at Sasha
Who can't get in her house

He's posted by her doorway
A hole where he won't fit
He doesn't want his dinner
And all he does is sit

The same old dried up cat food
Is all that's in the house
It isn't appetizing
When Sasha wants some "mouse"

Three Cats

One little cat and two little cats went out for a romp one day.
One little cat and two little cats make how many cats at play?
Three little cats had lots of fun till growing tired away ran one.
I really think he was most unkind to the two little cats that were left behind.

Three Little Kittens

Three little kittens, lost their mittens,
And they began to cry,
"Oh mother dear, we sadly fear, our mittens we have lost!"
"What! Lost your mittens? You naughty kittens!
Then you shall have no pie."
"Meow, meow, meow!"
The three little kittens found their mittens,
And they began to cry,
"Oh, mother dear, see here, see here!  Our mittens we have found."
"What!  Found your mittens?  You good little kittens.
Then you shall have some pie."
"Purr, purr, purr."
